Tyler is pursuing an Engineering Management degree through the University of Wisconsin-Madison virtual program while working full-time on third shift. He knows this education will open doors of opportunity, taking him to the next step in his career as a supervisor and to better provide for his family.
Besides work and school, Tyler coaches high school football and wrestling. He recognizes that athletics have played an important role in his life. Now he wants to pay it forward by being an important, trusted figure in kids’ lives and teach them lessons that will transcend from the team to everyday life.
Chris Winter, Assistant Head Football Coach at Wartburg College shares, “I have worked with Tyler the past three off-seasons. He is a detail-oriented person, tireless worker, and great teammate. He’s always ready to help the younger players and is passionate for mentoring and helping others. Tyler is a great candidate for this scholarship.”
