Follow 15 North to Emmitsburg, approximately 24 miles. Watch for signs to Seton Shrine, National Emergency Training Center and the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial. Take South Seton Avenue exit. Look for campus on right and follow signs to visitors’ parking.
From Washington, DC Area
Take Interstate 495 (Washington Beltway) West to Interstate 270 North. At Frederick, take Route 15 North to Emmitsburg, approximately 24 miles. Watch for signs to Seton Shrine, National Emergency Training Center and the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial. Take South Seton Avenue exit. Look for campus on right and follow signs to visitors’ parking.
- From Reagan National Airport: Take George Washington Parkway North from airport. Follow to Exit 14, Maryland, which takes you onto Interstate 495. Follow directions above to Frederick and Emmitsburg.
- From Dulles Airport: Take access road to Route 28, Exit #1. Take Route 28 North to Route 7 West. At Leesburg, Virginia, follow signs to Route 15 North to Frederick, Maryland. In Maryland, Route 15 merges with Route 340. At Frederick, watch for signs to Route 15 North. Stay on Route 15 for approximately 24 miles.
From Baltimore, Maryland
Take I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) to Interstate 70 West to Frederick. At Frederick, follow signs to Route 15 North to Emmitsburg, approximately 24 miles. Watch for signs to Seton Shrine, National Emergency Training Center and the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial. Take South Seton Avenue exit. Look for campus on right and follow signs to visitors’ parking.
- From Baltimore-Washington International (BWI)/Thurgood Marshall Airport: Follow signs to Interstate 695 North going toward Towson. Exit onto Interstate 70 West to Frederick. At Frederick, follow signs to Route 15 North to Gettysburg. Stay on Route 15 for approximately 24 miles. Watch for signs to Seton Shrine, National Emergency Training Center and the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial. Take South Seton Avenue exit. Look for campus on right and follow signs to visitors’ parking.
From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Take Pennsylvania Turnpike west to Harrisburg. Take Route 15 South (Exit 17). Follow Route 15 to Emmitsburg. Take a right onto South Seton Avenue. A Getty gas station is on the corner where you turn. (Do not take North Seton Avenue which you will see before you get to South Seton Avenue.) Look for campus on right and follow signs to visitors’ parking.
From New York City
Take I-278 to Verrazano Narrows Bridge towards Staten Island and New Jersey. I-278 becomes POW MIA Highway. (Note: POW MIA highway becomes Staten Island Expressway; Staten Island Expressway becomes I-278 West) Cross the Goethals Bridge (toll) and watch for signs to I-95 South/ New Jersey Turnpike. Take I-95 South. I-95 South becomes the New Jersey Turnpike (toll). Follow the Turnpike for approximately 70 miles. The Turnpike will then become I-295 S. Take the I-95 ramp towards Wilmington. Merge onto I-95 South and follow signs to Baltimore. Watch for signs to I-695. Take I-695 West (exit 49B) towards Towson to I-70 West to Frederick. Follow directions from Baltimore to Emmitsburg.
- From JFK Airport: Take Van Wyck Expressway north out of JFK Airport. Use exit 1B-2 towards Belt Parkway West/Verrazano Narrows Bridge/Rockaway Blvd. Merge onto North Conduit Avenue. Take a left onto Belt Parkway West. Follow directions above from New York City.
- From La Guardia Airport: Take Parkway West ramp towards Manhattan. Merge onto Grand Central Parkway West. Take the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (exit #4) towards Verrazano Narrows Bridge (I-278 W). Merge onto I-278 W and continue on the Interstate using the Gowanus Expressway. Continue on the Parkway and take the to Verrazano Narrows Bridge to Staten Island. Follow directions above from New York City.
From Pittsburgh and West
