I was a sophomore in High School when 9/11 happened. For the 1 year anniversary our friend’s dad ordered 100’s of bracelets with a fallen hero’s name on it, and she handed them out. I have never looked up the name on my bracelet, FF Thomas Gambino Jr., I’ve worn it every year since, carried his hame on my wrist. I will now see his face as I wear his name. Reading other accounts, it is evident that he is honored and not forgotten. I will continue to wear his name, in his honor. Prayers to his family, as they pass through the 20th year without him.
