Born on February 26, 1958 in Brooklyn, New York.  After graduating from college, he applied to law school.  During his first year at law school he was accepted into the FDNY. The fire department had been his calling since childhood.  Louis was also a lifeguard for many years.

He was an 11-year veteran of the FDNY, serving as a firefighter with Rescue Company 2, when he was killed in a roof collapse on February 5, 1996.

Louis is beloved and missed by his wife, family and friends.  He is forever in our hearts.
