My dad was a member of the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department for about 5 years. He and I were involved with all activies within the Fire Department. I once won a plaque for selling the most Crawfish tickets. I was trying to beat him. I did not think I could but I did. He was very dedicated to the fire department. He received several awards and attended training at the Texas A&M fire school. He was a wonderful person and great dad.
