Edward A. Russ‚ 39‚ a five-year member of the Bethel Volunteer Fire Department‚ died on December 11‚ 2000‚ when he was struck by a vehicle while directing traffic at an accident scene. He was an industrial‚ commercial and residential plumber by trade.
