It’s National First Responders Day. On this special day, we recognize paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, police officers, 911 operators, and countless other first responders for their service and countless acts of courage.
The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation has partnered with Kidneys for First Responders to honor first responders and empower others in the community to show appreciation for them.
Is there a fellow firefighter who needs an extra boost? Or did a 911 operator go above and beyond to help out? Give a small token of appreciation.
Kidneys for Communities will randomly select first responders to receive a $50 gift card, and highlight them on their social media – a small boost to brighten their day.
About the Kidneys for First Responders Program
Kidneys for Communities’ Kidneys for First Responders program is designed to improve access to and facilitate living kidney donations by connecting those who need a lifesaving kidney donation with those who want to help first responders. The program is based on the Kidneys for Communities community-directed donation model, designed to foster connections based on individuals’ affinity for membership-based communities
