More About the Tribute

The Colorado Fallen Firefighters Foundation was formed in 1989 to recognize the State of Colorado fallen firefighters on a permanent memorial and support the fire families who have suffered this loss. The Memorial assures that future Coloradans will remember their sacrifice. The Foundation recognizes all firefighters killed in the line of duty whether volunteer, career, union or non-union, structural or wildland. The foundation also recognizes federal firefighters killed assigned to Colorado fires even if they lived in another state.
