Robert Ojeda is Chief of the Kerrville Fire Department, Kerrville, Texas. Chief Ojeda retired in 2007 as chief of the San Antonio Fire Department, where he has served since 1973. Chief Ojeda moved through the ranks in the San Antonio Fire Department beginning as firefighter in 1973.

His father, a San Antonio firefighter, died in the line of duty in 1975.

Chief Ojeda received an associate's degree from San Antonio College and a bachelor's degree from Southwest Texas State University.
